About James Fedos

James Fedos is an American thriller author, historical novelist, actor, executive ghostwriter, and developmental editor whose work explores leadership, history, institutional power, and the consequences that emerge when systems begin to fail.

Drawing upon more than two decades of military service, federal leadership, and executive program management supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, and the United States Coast Guard, he brings operational realism and disciplined research to every story he writes.

His published novels include No Safe Landing, Abort Condition, and The City That Couldn't Sleep. Beyond his published work, James has completed multiple historical epics, a seven-novel saga, and additional manuscripts currently seeking representation and adaptation.

Professional Foundation

Before becoming a full-time writer, James managed complex acquisition, logistics, governance, and operational programs supporting some of the federal government's most demanding organizations. That experience continues to shape his fiction, creating stories grounded in authentic leadership, institutional decision-making, and real-world consequence.

Writing Philosophy

Whether writing historical fiction, political thrillers, executive manuscripts, or strategic communications, James approaches every project with the same objective:

Create work that endures.

His stories examine people at moments of profound decision, where power, responsibility, and consequence intersect to reveal character.
